The Grand Fayette Hotel (formerly the Country Place Hotel) overlooks the town square in historic Fayetteville, a charming Central Texas small town with population 250. Open year round, the Grand Fayette is a premier historic country inn located in a building originally built in 1900 and restored in 2003 within the guidelines of the Texas Historical Commission.
   Our eight second floor guest rooms and two first floor garden rooms feature private bathrooms and welcome our guests to quiet weekends in the country.
   Mary Quiros and Joan Herring purchased the hotel in July 2017 and have updated the interiors — and the comfort — of the iconic hotel.
   Each room of the hotel has original art, with gallery lighting. The art, some of which is for sale, has been created by Texas artists including William Anzalone, Charles Schorre, Mary Quiros, Clovis Heimsath, Jerry Jeanmard, Sally Maxwell, Laura Wilson, Pat Johnson, and Jerry and Joan Herring, among others.
